First Post for the Ogham Sourcing Blog
July 23, 2009 at 10:27 am | In Trading in China | Leave a CommentHello, and welcome to the Ogham Sourcing blog,
My name is Sean Hennessy, and I’m the Operations Manager with Ogham Sourcing Ltd., an Irish Company based in Cork, Ireland and with a permanent Office in Shenzhen, China where our General Manager is also Irish. He has a staff of Chinese people working with him in the office there. We have been operating in China for five years, primarily sourcing and importing a wide variety of commodities on behalf of Irish and UK customers, however we also offer advice and assistance to custmomers who want to export to China or to outsource manufacturing to China or even to set up an operation there.
The plan for this blog is that it will be a helpful source of useful information for Irish and UK Businesses who wish to conduct trade with Chinese companies. I will upload the first instalment later today, and further updates on a regular basis thereafter. The blogs will not be too technical, merely snippets of useful information to help businesses to get a better idea of the positves and pitfalls (and how to avoid them) of doing business in China.
So bookmark this page, and check back again, or alternatively go to our website wher you can get more details about us, and what we can do for you.
